A sequel to the 2006 video game adaptation "Silent Hill." The original, based on the Konami game, starred Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Laurie Holden, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates, Tanya Allen and Jodelle Ferland. Christophe Gans directed the TriStar Pictures release, which earned $97.6 million worldwide.
Passengers who include a newly engaged flight attendant (Chung), a girlfriend with a secret, a controlling newlywed, and a woman with a unique perspective on death (Taylor-Compton), encounter what appears to be a supernatural force on board the claustrophobic Pacific Flight 7500. From the director of the American version of The Grudge, that was one of the few movies to give me a genuine sweat of fear, so hopefully he can deliver the same here.

The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an "extreme tour" guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone.
